DMS Theatre History
In 2014, Davis Middle School introduced the Academy for Performing and Visual Arts as part of RCPS School Choice Program. Since it's opening in 2006, Theatre has been a part of DMS as an extracurricular, performing an annual Spring Musical, Winter Musical Review, and Fall 2 Act drama. With the formation of the Academy and the DMS Golden Eagle Players, Mr. Young continues to carry the torch, as set by Mrs. Jackson, expanding Theatre as an extracurricular as well as in a classroom setting.
